BestHD Blu-ray Ripper is a Blu-ray movie ripper for Windows. It allows you to copy your Blu-ray movies to a variety of formats. Some people like to always have a copy of their optical media saved just in case the discs break or get scratched. This ripper can do just that and save the entire movie or just parts of it into the most popular formats.

The graphical user interface is standard-looking. It has the "ripper" interface that many applications use. It proves intuitive so that is not really a point to complain. It has a video player to preview the titles. It can play the movie just fine, but it isn't great for long periods of video playback.

Using the application is extremely easy. You add a Blu-ray movie by pointing the application to your Blu-ray drive. When it detects a movie it will let you select what parts of it to copy. You can also choose what audio channel you want in your final file and whether you want to add a subtitle stream to that file.

Most of the video conversion profiles available are relevant, but there are some low-resolution profiles for mobile devices. I guess if you want to watch your movies on your mobile devices, you would use those.

This tool will only allow you to rip Blu-ray movies. DVD movies are not supported.
